Antonis Drakoularakos lived in Tokyo for 3 months in 2014 with the vision of opening a humble establishment back in Athens, Greece. And that’s exactly what he’s done.

Hidden in a small street near Syntagma square, Sushimou is a 12-people bar establishment that offers unique omakase carefully picked and assembled by Antonis himself. Officially there is a menu, but if I were you I would avoid it opt for the daily specials. Just give a couple of pointers to Antonis and he will certainly deliver.

You guessed it right. Sushimou doesn’t serve any fancy rolls spoiled in mayo and soy sauce. Sashimi and nigiri it is. Top nigirs not to miss: bonito, crayfish and mullet.
